Horror Movies For October #26

Just as a case of ebola hits New York City, today’s movie is Italian Horror Master Lucio Fulci‘s 1979 cult classic “Zombie”. Or “Zombi 2”. Or “Zombie Flesh Eaters“… Anyway, it’s the movie that put Fulci on the map. A boat enters New York harbor with a lone zombie aboard who attacks one of the Patrol Officers and bites him. Upon further investigation they learn that the boat is owned by a researcher and father to Anne, played by Tisa Farrow. Her dad was doing research in the Caribbean and sent a message home that he was suffering from a strange disease. So Anne and a reporter decide to investigate and all hell breaks loose. Including an underwater zombie/shark fight which makes me wonder why we don’t yet have a Sharkzombie movie. With an ending that could be ripped right out of tomorrow’s headlines, it’s totally worth a look.

    Peace Skip,

    Thank you.

Yet another film I missed during my heyday.

However, now I have an opportunity to catch up on some “Zs.”

The theme of ” Zombie”. Or “Zombi 2”. Or “Zombie Flesh Eaters ” reminds me “28 Days Later.”

    Cordially,

    Che!
